I'm nervous, yet very excited to release this bit of information to you guys. I hope every one is happy for us :).

Mallory is coming back home :biggrin2:!

For those that do not know....My fiance and I had issues last summer and we parted ways for a month. During that time, I had no where to go (no family, bleh to the friends).....so I went to live with Peg (TinysMom).

Ryan and I "made up" and I came home. I brought Marlin home with me on the air plane, as he was still a baby. Mallory, Morgan, and Madilyn (Mallory's bonded lady).....stayed in Texas until I could fly them home.

Plans didn't follow through and things went awkward, so Morgan flew home to me...while Mallory and Madilyn went to live with Zin (GoinbacktoCali).

This broke my heart and Mallory was one of my heart bunnies....well...Marlin, Morgan, and Mallory were. I had wished that we could have broke apart the bond with Mallory and Madilyn and Mallory could have come home too, as Madilyn and I never bonded together. Breaking up the bond between two rabbits just didn't seem right, though....so I just had to deal with it.

Well, Mallory and Madilyn have since unbonded themselves while living with Zin. Zin is having personal issues in her life and thought Mallory would want to go to a different home.

Mallory was going to go live with a family member of Zin's, until I found out about it and said I would take Mallory back in a heart beat, if I could.

Well...a heart beat happened and my little love is coming back home ;).

Kelly from Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue is going to start working hard on finding Benson (my 8.5 year old foster) his forever home....where he can have more free range time and be twice as spoiled as he is here....which is what I really want for the old guy.

We are both hoping Benson will find a home by the fall....when Mallory can fly back home. I will also be paying for Mallory to come back home. Zin, the sweetest lady ever, offered to pay to fly him home....but she has given him a home and I couldn't ask of anything more at this point.

One task....releasing the information to Ryan . Him and I have talked about how 4 rabbits works out for me and that is what I can handle...and how I really like having 4 bunnies, and he agreed. I am sure if Benson finds his home by then (or shortly after)....he will be totally fine with it. He knows Mallory means a lot to me and knows how upset I was about finding out about him being rehomed. Well, he is being rehomed....but home to me...lol!

Ryan and I are totally fine now, for those curious...and are planning our wedding for next summer! We are also looking into some how buying the current house that we are renting and renovating it...but that isn't for about 2 years :p. The lot that the house is on is worth a ton because of the area, but our landlord is willing to sell the house waaaay cheap to current renters....I guess Ryan and I are going to be the *dumb* ones and buy this poopy little house. We already have plans drawn and every thing....lol! *Cute Cottage in the Pines*! The resell of this house will in return be $300,000 (from what we have been told and seen) profit in roughly 10 years just because of the land and renovations. We are in a prime area, the house....just isn't the nicest on the mountain...hehe.

Anyway, I don't ask Ryan's permission anymore....I handle it myself and I make my own decisions apon if I want a new pet or not. I wanted 2 new ratties a month or so ago and he was mad...but wanted me to decide for myself, but decided within myself that it was not the right time and I couldn't handle that many. He was relieved and knows I am now not stupid and will not get in over my head with animals :p.

Sorry...ranting :baghead.

:bunnydance:

That is awsome, am I happy 4 you! I never knew that rabbits could fly over borders. Do they keep themwhere they keep the other pets, or can yourequest leaving them with you?

I would like to add to the story..

My Mastitisis doe that I have been trying to rehome for like.. EVER.. will be going to live at Eljean's..

Eljean is in love with bunnies..and I never even considered Amy would want Mallory back, as far as I was concerned he could stay here forever. When I told Eljean she could have Mallory, it wasn't because I did not want him,or couldn't take care of him.I was thinking of what he might enjoy..

Apparently Amy wanted him back but did not know how to approach me.. let this be a lesson to the rest of you all.. JUST OPEN YOUR MOUTH WHEN IT COMES TO ME..lol..

Had I known.. I wouldn't have posted he was going to Eljean's

Anyway...this all worked out.. and a girl I figured was destined to live here with me forever has a new home and is loved.. so it has a happy ending!

Sheesh, I rambled so much that I forgot parts of the story, Zin...lol.

:p

Well - after hearing about Eljean's setup - I caught Miss Bea packing her bags and trying to convince Zeus to leave Tibba and head out for that place...

Now she's trying to demand her own tv (there is one in the bedroom but its not hers) and she wants exercise equipment for Zeus so he can stay in shape..

Really Zin....my rabbits didn't need to hear how good Eljean made the place...

Edited to add: OOPS! Congrats to Amy for getting Mallory back...

Amy, I'm really happy for you. I remember seeing the thread last year about how you had to rehome Mallory and Madilyn and it was just heartbreaking to read. I didn't know your situation, but it was (and is) obvious that you love your boy very, very much. I'm glad your heart bunny is going back home to his heart mama.

Don't ya just love happy endings? I am so glad this worked out. Amy you know how much you mean to me. I know with all my heart how much you missed. I would love to be there when you get him back. I will be there in spirit.

Thank you Zin for being the woman that you are and giving him a home. For being such a smart cookie and figuring the right solution to this all.

Though I shouldput in Mallory willnot beflying yet. The summer heat does not allow that.

Aww this is such a nice story.

When is Mallory due home?

Fran :) :hearts :brownbunny

WOW! That is really good news! So happy for you and Mallory! (And isn't Zin just the greatest for taking such good care of them for you!) I love happy endings! :inlove:

Oh wow, this is great news!! :D

Not being here then, I knew vaguely that Mallory was yours, and I knew about Zin having a Mallory, but I didn't put the 2 together before! I also knew that you stayed with Peg, because I'd heard the story of you having the banana and Tiny running towards you, but didn't know any story behind it. Bless Peg for taking you in :)

And I'm so happy for you! You must be so excited! I'M excited for you! :biggrin2:

:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

Amy that's wonderful news! I worried the bunnies were unbonding themselves also, but ya know - that sort of thing happens for a reason!

I do wonder tho about Zin's family members..... they had started building him a big place and stuff.... what are they going to do with it? take a rescue from Zin? That would be awesome!

So, do you know when this will happen?! I'm really happy!

*I thought you were going to tell us you were pregnant..... then I might come down there and kick your butt (too young - enjoy being a couple for now) and then kiss, hug, and love the animals and your baby LOL!*

WOAHHH....Bo.....no human babies ! Oh, gosh! LOL, I am going to be laughing at that all day. UGH, I would totally lose my mind if a human baby was on the way. Nooooo way, not any time soon...I promise! Ryan needs to grown up first :p...

Thanks, guys. I am so happy every one is excited for us :biggrin2:! Alicia is right, Mallory won't be flying home until the fall. It is 112 degrees in Phoenix now (not sure about the temp in TX), but it needs to be MUCH cooler before he can fly.

:sunshine:
