I have Lupas cage with panels from a dog crate around the front so she can have more room to play and I can leave her cage door open all day/night. When I'm home, I open the panels and put a little box tunnel so that I can move that and just sit with her so she can get used to me.

She's never had any interest in the box....until last night. I stepped out of my room for a few minutes knowing she'd be fine and I came back...there was no bun lol. I started freaking out but quickly found her under my bed lol. I put her back and set the pen and the box up the way I had it before. All of a sudden I hear the box moving. I turn around and Lupa had nudged the box with her head and then nudged the panel! Had to make her pen larger and more secure in quite a hurry lol. She's taken over my room now though :p...excuse the messy room...had to throw everything everywhere lol

Hahah I know how it feels... Buster gets out of the hardest barriers somehow.

I even have a tall x-pen (looks about to be the height of yours) blocking off a doorway. One day I heard it rattling and I looked over and buster was perched on top of it! He couldn't make it over cuz he got his foot stuck in the top part (poor guy) but I was amazed... anyway, where I was going with this - your bunny may be able to hop over those 1 square high grids. You may want to make them a little higher.
Good luck! :)

I agree. The one high grids is no match for a bunny. I would make them at least 2-3 high. Some rabbits will still get over that I am sure but it is a start and might hold your rabbit.

perched on top?? that's insane! bet it would've been adorable if it hadn't been for the poor guy having his foot stuck :(
