So I haven't been on in a few days, as my old computer decided to crash and after getting it looked at, the hard drive was shot. (being 7 years old I can believe it)

So my old one had windows xp, I liked it (when it was working right) and could find and do anything on it easily. Now we just got a new one that has Windows 7 and I'm lost. I've always been good with 'old' technology, but I'm clueless with half of what's on here. Icouldn't even figure how to turnthe base and monitor on.:pAnyone else had this problem? lol

I can handle any windows machine with fair confidence. Give me a Mac though and you might as well have handed me an expensive paperweight. Don't care for them and won't try to figure em out. 7 years is a good run for a hard drive :)

I upgraded to Windows 7 last December. It took a few days to get used to it, but now I like it. I still have XP on my netbook, so sometimes I get a little confused going between computers, but mostly I'm ok.

I found that I use none of the "it was my idea" nonsense that the people in the Windows 7 commercials thought was so brilliant. I found those features utterly annoying and had myself a time digging through the control panel disabling them! The one thing I will say is that the Windows 7 help search as far as looking for things inside of the OS itself, is quite helpful! I use Windows 7 much the way I use Windows XP LOL

I thought Windows XP was great. I don't know why they keep bashing it like Windows 7 was soooo much better. :p I am glad that at least they make it so that you can get it more or less to behave like XP on the frontend.
