I bought the nativity set from eBay.

I haven't taken anyone out of the packaging yet.

Price was good, I paid just over $12 total. Price on the actual box is $54.99.

I may consider buying some manger animals now.

Mary seems a little bug eyed, but considering the circumstances, who could blame her?

:roflmao:You have such a dry sense of humor...... I love it!

I haven't seen the nativity. I love the horses tho :) and the Bunnies :)

LOL!!

I saw the nativity set in a store here the other day; I really liked it. :)

So Leaf, now that you're a member of the Schleicher's (only nerdy way I can think to put it) you must learn the official secret handshake, and wear the hugeSchleich fuzzy hat for all members' meetings.

Welcome to the club! :biggrin2:

I need to find a manger setting to put them in and I don't know off hand what animals are appropriate to go with them.

They ywill be my first nativity set ever so I'm excited and want to do it right.

:laugh:LOOK at Mary!

Oh and Walmart will have really nice little wooden mangers real soon to buy - all sizes. Look in their Christmas decorations. You can get them pretty inexpensive.

Animals to put in would be most of your farm animals...... I wouldn't like add Zebras or Elephants..... but a few cow, camel, donkey, sheep, goats, (of course we have to put in bunnies!) and even a chicken or two would be fine....

LOL Ok, I would probably have a few otters and a wambat or something so .... well.... but she said she wanted appropriate animals.... somehow..... I think we are on the inappropriate side of things! ;)
