I got a new job!

Finally! I've been looking since February, and I've finally had an offer!

It pays £2000 a year more than my current one - gonna be some spoiled bunners in this house! :biggrin2:

All together now... Woohoo!

My current job is doing admin for a training provider - basically if you're on the dole too long you get sent there and they try and make you get a job. And call it 'training', to make it sound more impressive than it is. It's esentially data entry, not a lot of scope for actually 'thinking'... and there's a lot of dealing with horrible people who don't want to be there but have to be unless they want their benefits stopping, which, of course, they don't, so they stay and resent it and take it out on everyone there. Lovely...

My NEW job... will be also doing admin, but working for the council - pay grades, woo! - and will be a lot more varied, should actually give me more opportunities to use my brain, and with any luck won't involve dealing with too many horrible people.
