I'm soo happy and I just thought I would share the news with everyone :)

I found a home for Jack!! :D I'm soo happy :) He will be going to his new home this weekend, either Saturday or Sunday :)

The family replied to my ad on hoobly.com and they have a few young kids, they have a few other rabbits that are mini rexes, and I think they will be a great loving family for Jack :)

I'm just so happy that I found him a loving home, I didn't think I would :)

YAY! So glad you found someone for him! Hope he's excited and happy there!

So sad this morning :( The lady I was going to sell Jack to lives 5 hours from me so this morning we were both going to drive halfway and meet. She texted me this morning and she said her daughter has an ear infection and she is taking her to urgent care :(

I asked her if she would like to meet later today or a different day but she said she can't and she doesn't want Jack anymore.... sigh....

I'm sorry this home didn't work out as you had planned. :(

If you can, it is best to set up a Paypal account for the future and require a non-refundable 50% deposit to hold rabbits. Or, full payment if you're going to be driving so far to meet someone. It is not uncommon for people back out of sales, and it is always at the expense of the seller (either in time or money). Requiring money down helps sort serious inquiries from impulse inquiries AND if the buyer does end up backing out, you have payment to compensate for the loss.

Sorry it didn't work out :( I definitely agree about the non refundable deposit, especially since these are show rabbits, and I think you said you may want to sell Jack as a show rabbit, am I right on that? I think the deposit will definitely sort out more genuine buyers from the not-so-serious buyers.

Good luck; I hope Jack gets a home soon! :)
