I haven't started the new job yet...they won't let me leave the classroom until after the State exam. I'll be here until the end of March or beginning of April. ...sigh...

I don't wanna go to work either. But mine is cause it's in the low 30's...snowing like crazy and I have to get 54 little darlings back home safely before I can start my weekend. Of course they will all be hyped up because its snowing which makes my job a bit harder. So I'll just think of the yummy dinner I have planned, go to work, come and then play hermit for 48 hours LOL.

I liked the idea, but didn't think they would be able to offer me the money I would need to take the job. They were able to do so, so off I go

I hope so. It's an opportunity to influence the entire school district and the direction it takes in teaching literacy. I am honored that they want me in such a position.

I wish we had teachers like you in my school, being completely honest they don't give two f's, One teacher told her class "I don't care how you do in your leaving cert, at the end of the day i'll still get paid" leaving cert-one of the most important exams you'll do in Ireland. Then others don't bother following the course work, so yeah pretty crappy school!
