It all started thursday. My mom and I were invited to dinner at her friends house. She made steak and patatoes and all the fixings. After dinner I decided to call my friend who lives near there. We met up at the park and we also met up with another one of my friends ( I'll name them Kate and Nat ) Kate was supposed to meet up with her guy friend (and also a crush) at the movies and wanted Nat and I to walk her there then leave. So we did.

When we got there (Name him Jake) he wasn't there so we waited with her. He finnally showed up with 2 of his friends who really dont need to be named. Kate din't feelcomfortable hanging out with Jake and his friends so she asked us to go with them to the local skate park.

Once we got there Kate automatically left us and started smoking with Jake and his friends. She asked Nat if she wanted some but Nat said no . She looked at me and I gave her a look saying 'are you really going to ask me' Nat and i wanted to leave, but we also din't want to leave Kate with those guys she hardly knew (And looked alot older)

Kate started yelling cuss words to some girls sitting on the grass. I tried telling her to stop but she was to high to even reconize me. Finnally, me and Nat grabbed Kate - willing or not- and pulled her away from the Skatepark and towards her house to drop her off. Those girls, that Kate was yelling at started to fallow us, Yelling horrible stuff about how we needed to be taught a lesson. They started running, and so did we. We ran quickly into a local store and told a girl at the cash we were getting fallowed, she looked at Kate and just started laughing, thinking we were just some teens playing a prank.

I called my mom , I din't care what anyone said but I needed her to come get me and whoever else wanted to get home SAFE. My mom came and all 3 of us huddled into the car.

Once we dropped Kate off at her house we went back to my moms friends house (who's nat's neighbor).

Nat sat with me on a green electrical box while my mom went to talk to Nats mom (who was in trouble because we were late, its not like it was our fault we got chased by girls who litterally wanted to pound us).

While we were talking Nat looked at me and said ' were you sitting near Kate' . I said 'Yeah why' 'Well because you smell like drugs' LOVELY.

My mom also noticed it. Im now grounded, and I can't hang out with Kate. My mom thinks I did it, but it was kate :X

Brandy, you should let your Mother read this.Maybe it will explain what happened that night.

I do agree with her about hanging around with this Kate girl. Trust me as an older person we've been there and donethat. She is just really just trying to protect you.

I've told her the story plenty of times.

But she should trust that when someone offers me something, i'll say no. I'm a very strong person.

I have to say you did good in calling but should have sooner. The minute they started smoking you should have called. For a friend to drag you into this makes them a bad friend to have. Someone like that is someone you should be very wary of.

I can understand how it must feel for your mom not to believe you but understand that whether you smoked or not you still stayed there. Youdidn't leave to begin with which is what you should do.

Do you think it doesn't cross your moms mind that if you hadn't gotten away that could have ended very bad? I know someone who was not directly involved in a fight the started like this but ended up in jail for a year.

That you should be grounded oh yea. That your mom said no hanging out with Kate. I think she is right you are her daughter and she doesn't want you in that position.

I'm a bit confused, were they smoking drugs? Or just smoking tobacco?

If my Mum had smelt smoke on me when I was younger I would have told her the truth, and she would have probably believed me. Its a shame your Mum doesn't believe you, but if they were smoking drugs, you should have got out of there fast. If they were just smoking, well its bad for your health anyway, and I would have left or moved away, but if you told her the truth and she doesn't believe you well thats bad.

In that case, a girl who is sitting around smoking drugs, well you should have just left her, its her own problem if she is going to be stupid.

I've never done drugs, as many people at my school have. Sure, I smoked in a bush at school because I thought it was 'cool', then realised it really wasn't and stopped. I would never ever touch drugs though.

I actually did end up moving, at first i was beside her but me and 'nat' moved to the other end of the skatepark.

I din't want to call my mom and then my mom show up and see kate doing it and get the wrong impression of me and then Kate be mad at me because my mom would of obviously went to see her mom , they know each other. Either way I lose.

And yes, it was drugs.

Either way, my mom knew it was 'kate' so...
