Obviously, he doesn't like it being put on, what animal does when you first try it? But, I got a leash on him..gave him a carrot to munch so it wouldn't be such a traumatic experience. So, then I get it on him, now he won't move. lol He will either try to chew it, or move the other way. He doesn't understand the leash, but again, he can't..he's never used one before.

How would I teach him how to walk with me, with the leash? I got it because he is indoors all day, and I figure the spring air or later on when it gets warmer-would help him to get some fresh air. Any advice would be great!

I have heard that some folks let the rabbit walk around through the house just wearing the harness and dragging the leash..or at least wearing the harness part to get used to the feel...

I've never dealt with that yet (I do have one for Beatrice I need to start using)...

Give him some time to get used to it. If he's had it on a lot but still hates it, you could try a different style. Some rabbits will never like the harness- my Mocha hated the first one and would only chew it and try to wriggle it off. The second style I tried spooked her and she panicked and started dashing around trying to escape it. I was very lucky she didn't hurt herself.

If he does get used to it, don't expect him to walk with you. He'll walk YOU!:D

Thanks for the advice..I might give it a shot.
But yeah, I should have guessed..he'll walk me..lol He's got a whole attitude and thought pattern of his own. lol
