I am such an idiot....

With Morgan coming home yesterday and being all excited about it, I COMPLETELY forgot to take the 2nd portion of my GED test today at 10:45 this morning.

I got up, got ready, went to work...like any normal day. Then, while I was working on a solar display and day dreaming about college and thinking about my financial aid, then I was thinking about how nice it would be to finally have my GED certificate....


IT HIT ME...



"AMY, YOU DUMMY....YOU FORGOT ALL ABOUT YOUR GED TEST TODAY :grumpy:!"



Arg, now I have to go to the college this week, pay $10 and reschedule the 2nd portion of my test. I hope I dont have to wait more than a month this time!

Why don't you have someone remind you..... when you get the date, let us know and a day or two before hand - we can remind you LOL!

I know what it's like to be busy, stressed and miss something like that!

Everyone here knew about it...and the date had been on the forum. I am just an idiot and totally forgot, which is unlike me! I never forget stuff like that!

I've just been so happy and excited to have Morgan home and go to my great new job, that I completely forgot....lol!


I'll definitely tape the next date on a sticky note, and stick it on the laptop...so I remember, hahaha!

I'm sorry, but, on the bright side, at least you can reschedule, it won't just be, say, an automatic fail. That would be truly awful.

Yep, I am glad I can still take it. Now, to find time to go to the college to sign up for it again. I work 8-9 hour days, Monday - Friday.
