Sooooo...there is this lady at work who needed someone to watch her two kitties (Chocolate and Whiskers) while she went away to a gem & jewelry show (she's a jeweler). I said I would watch her kitties because she only lives about 5 minutes from my house. She said she was delighted that I would watch them because I love kitties and she said that if she didn't find anyone to watch them in time (she leaves Friday), then she would have had to take the cats to THE POUND .
She had mentioned to me before that she was wanting to rehome the kitties (that she has had since 4 weeks old) because her beloved miniature Poodle, Dylan, loves to eat cat poop and gets sick when he does. So I think to myself: Uh......okay.....my dog eats cat poop too, but I won't rehome my cats because of that.
Anyway, we get to her house to meet the kitties and see where the cat food and stuff is. I walk in the door and almost DIED, I was greeted by the most adorable cat on the face of the earth. Now, Peg (TinysMom) knows how much I loved Chaucer (her chocolate Lionhead) because he was, well....CHOCOLATE!! I am a sucker for any brown animal...hence the reason why I have all tort colored rabbits, they aren't chocolate, yeah, but I just love the color brown. If I could have had a chocolate cat, I would have gotten a chocolate cat. I mean, this kitty even has chocolate colored whiskers and his eyes are even hinted with a chocolate color! His undercoat is very faint dark chocolate tiger markings.
So, here I am, home....dying....drifting away.........UHHHH.....I mean....dreaming about that chocolate kitty.
MUST HAVE CHOCOLATE KITTY .
