I am so excited

I am getting DSL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You might t hink whoopie!!! but i had dial up for as long as i can remember, then i splurged about two years ago and got DSL, about 8-10 months after getting DSL we moved. We only moved about 5 minutes from the one house to our house now, and i thought no biggie. Well it was a big biggie, i couldnt get DSL where i was currently. If you have ever had DSL then have to go to dial up you know the horribly, horrible difference,lol. And lately i have been having alot of trouble with it. So as of July 10 i will have DSL I will also be able to keep up on pics on my blog alot easier and my myspace!!!!!!!! watch out i havent updated that thing in about 1 1/2 years so when this is set up i will have all new pics and stuff like that.

The even happier thing about this is that since i have my Direct tv,phone and now DSL with Verizon i get a really nice discount and it will only cost 2.00 more a month!!!! I am so happy about this becasue i didnt have the money for it if it went up alot. So there it is, the things in life that make me happy arent all that exciting to most ,lol. Who would think getting DSL would make me happy!!!!

On another note i just want everyone to know i hate voice activated phone systems w hen you call the phone company. THEY DONT WORK WITH 3 KIDS AND 3 DOGS!!!!!!!! Everytime i have to call Verizon they have that and i keep getting the lady on the phone saying "I am sorry that is not a recognized response, please try, internet, direct tv,phone or other" Then i reply my answer REALLY LOUD, that automated lady really aggravates me!!!!!!

I totally agree w/the voice activated phone systems. You have to lock yourself in the bathroom away from everyone for it to work!:headsmack

DSL is so incredible. We had dial-up for years, and it drove me completely NUTS...but, um, no one in the family noticed:shock:....kinda depressing.

Now that I finally talked the dh into getting it, he's hooked, as well.

We got DSL when we moved....and I LOVE it! It goes so fast, and now I think our printer goes slow! haha. I have wireless internet on my laptop, so it's even faster!

Alicia I would think with all the pics you post you would have to have soemthing fast,lol, it has to take you forever to get all those the pics loaded up for you,lol.

my mom wants to kill that lady some times! only the one she really hates is the one for ordering meds! she has to do diabetes supplies every couple of months and, well...............y'all get the idea!

How has the forum been for you with dial up? I know some of us have been having some issues with it being slow, so I can't imagine how you are doing anything here with it now.

Luv DSL! I don't know how I could do anything at home w/out it.. Mine is through my cable company and it has allowed me to sign up for Vonage phone service (your phone calls go out over the internet) and cost $25.00 a month regardless of how much you talk or where you call (some overseas calls will be billed a minute rate, but so far Germany and Kuwait are free, my BF lived in Germany for 20 years and worked in Kuwait)... Let alone downloads for music, movies and me talking to my Mother for hours at a time do not cause me grief anymore..
