i am going to be an aunt!!!!!

today, while i was driving home from town. . .my sister called. . .here is the phone conversation:

jenny "what are you doing?"

katie "just driving home"

jenny "are the roads bad?"

katie "no, why?"

jenny "well, i got something i need to tell you, and i am not sure what your reaction is going to be"

katie "go for it"

jenny "i am pregnant"

katie *pause for about 10 seconds "i need to pull over"

jenny "ha ha ha"

katie "what did bill f-ing do to you?"

jenny's boyfriend bill *the phone was on speaker* "i am not telling you that!!"

katie and jenny "ha ha ha ha ha"

katie "no, but for real, what did you have to tell me"

jenny "that was what i had to tell you"

katie "i am not ready for this"

bill "i am not sure i am either"

and it went on from there. . .

so, i am going to be an aunt!

we weren't really expecting it. . .it wasn't anything planned. . .

my other sister is getting married in july and then the baby is due in oct.

it is going to be a busy year for our family!
