hi all

well we are getting our hamster tonight if its a boy it will be called harvey

but if it is a girl it will be called looka as i love the song by Suzanne vaga

tony is saying he doesn't want Lucy and the hamster to mix because hethinks we have had her to long to bring another pet into her life

but if she heard me talking to the hamster shes going to think somethings up

well anyway Lucy is doing great chilled out as usual my little princess

i'll try and get some photos of the hammy as s a p

I'm so excited for you!!:colors:
Hammies are cool. Pookie use to ride around in my shirt pocket. She wasalso very interested in the bunnies. I would put her up by their cagesand she would "vibrate" with excitment.
The bunnies would watch the hammies all the time....especially if they were running on their wheels.

Give him a couple of days to get aclimated. He might nip or "Taste"your fingers to find out just exactly what you might be. Avoid havingyour hands smell like food or he might make a mistake thinking you're atreat. Whithin a week or so he should warm up to you just fine.

thought harvey was a chocolate brown colour he is infact

silvery grey bluewith splashes of white quite a handsome chap as far as hammys go

can i ask is it possible to breed a syrian hamster with a robinoski hamster

I don't think so. They are differentspecies and I think they might be too different to crossbreed. I'm not positive though.

HARVEY IS DOING WELL WEVE HAD HIM 3 WEEKS ON TUESDAY STILL NOT ABLE TOPICK HIM UP BIT ME 3 TIMES BUT THERES TIME YET AS HES STILL ATEROAWAY TEENAGER BUT I PUT HIM IN HIS EXERCISE BALL EVERY OTHER DAYWELL I SHOULD SAY TONY GETS HIM OUT BUT I THINK IT WILL JUST TAKE TIME
