I dont know where this goes. But I have been looking at hutches for Tico. I found one that I am in love with. I will only be using it in the summer when it's nice out and only durning the day when I am at home.

What do you guys think about this hutch? Do you think I could build one or have a friend help me build one like it cheaper?

Here's the link.

I love that hutch but remember, they can dig under the wood, and you don't want something predators could get through when you are gone - which they can dig also.

I would build a larger house part and then have a run for when you are home or something.....

I'm buying hutch components from eBay.

This hasn't arrived yet, but I won the auction for it:

I have this already, and it's what the hutch will sit on top of:

In all, this is what I'm aiming for:

Actually, instead of having two #1's I may get the #2:

and then the #1 (1st picture) would sit on top of the other end.

No, the bottom is open to the ground. If a person were to use it on any natural substrate it would have to be put on wire or very heavy canvas.

If everything goes as planned I'll have the setup in my garage on concrete.

The funny thing is, it's not for rabbits, but for my blind cat since he is so insistant on trying to get outside.
