I think it got worse as it hit land and people weren't expecting it. Last night they'd already rescued 50 or 60 people.

I always never use the praying icon because I'm not at all religious, and I don't want to offend people who are, but I am definately thinking and hoping for everyone in that area that they stay safe....

The news coverage isn't all that great over here, but I found this video on the BBC site- it looks so scary :?

Nah....I'm in the place where people evacuate to when a hurricane comes (ok - so they don't usually come this far west - but they have before).

I'm fine - its Zin and others from the forum who are more in harm's way....
