Hi all!
So I got Humphrey neutered and microchipped last week. I was afraid of pain for him and healing complications. But, he is doing amazing! I didn't let him out for a play for a few days afterwards just in case the incision opened. I also bought extra meds in the case he was in pain, yeah I ended shooting the entire syringe full across the room lol. Thankfully he didn't seem to be in pain at all. He was also very good with letting me check the incision
So last night I let him have a good couple of hours to play around and make up for lost time. He binkied and torqued around the apartment like a madman! I sat on the couch watching tv (while keeping a good eye on him). I guess he wanted a quick snuggle because he ran all the wat from the other side of the room onto my lap on the couch, sat there for about 5 seconds while I pet him and talked to him, then took off running like it never happened! It was adorable!
Every morning, while in his cage, he likes his nose rubbed and when I stop he puts it in the air like he wants more. He actually likes resting his top lip on the plastic on his cage and sticking his nose between the bars. So cute! Sometimes he will even give me little bunny licks on my nose
It's really funny, I spent about $80 on toys and stuff for him, he would rather play with newspaper lol. Although he does like his cardboard castle It's usually his start line for his bunny race
