I always wonder this but 9 of 10 times I forgetto ask. I feed Miffy 2 romaine leaves, dandelion leaves, cilantro and italian parsely every night. Plus a 3 fingersmall pinch of shredded carrots. I tend to only feed her atnight, she has unlimited hay a maybe 1/2 cup pellets that last her 2-3days maybe. I do not think that she is overweightatall butI can feel her spine and maybe her ribs alittle bit more than I think I should. She just turned 1 yearold on Sept. 29. When I took her in to get her nails clipped,I did not even think to ask what they thought of her weight.

Should I give her a little bit of greens to munch on in the mornings oris this fine for her right now? (Oh, forgot to add that whenher pellets are gone and I put more in her bowl, she gets a few alfafahearts and a few Vitakraft mini carrot slims)

Mine get their salads in the morning. Ionly give it them once a day. In the evening I give them theirpineappl, papaya tabs, and a treat or two like some craisins or a bitof apple or banana.

I think what you are doing is fine and don't see a need to increase it.

i think what you are giving is okay. you knowyour bunny best. my munchkins get greens every 3rd day or so. atablespoon of pumpkin every other day. oats on the day no pumpkin. anda couple of treats a day. LOTS of timmy hay, and fresh pellets everyday.

I think what you are feeding soundsfine. I feed about a half cup ofveggies(mostlymixed greens witha littlepumpkin, carrot, or broccoli)per bun twice a day. It alldepends on how you work out their diet. The more veggies youfeed, the less pellets you should feed and vice versa.Although Mocha and Loki get a lot of pellets. They eat tonsand are still active and slim. Fey and Spritegetless pellets because they have trouble digestingthem, though they are slowly getting better.

I base my diet off of the House Rabbit Society website which advocatesmore veggies and hay and less pellets. Different diets workbetter for different rabbits, though.

Thanks for the replies, like I said I alwayswondered but now I know that she is fine with what I am feeding thelittle bugger.

Theone thing I keep forgetting to buy and right now would bethe perfect time to buy is a few cans of pumpkin. She isshedding somewhat, not a whole lot but still and she would probablylike it. I do also give her the a few oats and if the girlshave raisins as a snack, then she sometimes gets that too!;)
