Hello All,
I'm new after spending 2 weeks trying to get on Rabbit Village
Ok, my current set-up is 2 buns, Bobby and Tilly. We got Bobby firstand had him fixed, then we introduced him to Tilly and after a fewdates they bonded well and moved in together.
We basically cut a hole in the bottom of Tillys cage and fixed it tothe top of Bobby's cage with a ramp between. They are so thrilled withthis that we have to coax them out nowadays. They spend their timerunning around and throwing their toys. They also spoon when theysleep, which I assume is a good sign.
So Tilly is now 3 months and Bobby is 6 months. They've had a lot ofturbulence in their time with us, Bobby was settled then Tilly camealong, we've moved the cage a few times which they don't like.
I'm getting the urge for a third. I'm planning to wait unil Tilly hasbeen spade in 3 months, give her a month to recover and then get alittle boy, a black and white rex I think.
So I'm a bit worried (in advance) that either:
1.Tilly will still be super territorial as I've read girls are
2. Bobby and Tilly won't like their new little bro
3. The little boy won't like being put into a smelly condo with other rabbits
4. Two cages together isn't big enough for 3 rabbits.
Bobby and Tilly are dwarf Lops. Advice?
