So harper got upstairs without me knowing and she met peeta through a gate which ended with peeta getting a bloody nose. He's fine now but with Harper's ear mites I'm afraid he got them. When would I be able to see the ear mites so I can treat them? Harper has had her first dose of meds but her second isn't until the 13th

What are you using to treat the ear mites? If they all live in the same house, I would treat everyone as a precautionary measure and you'll have a better chance of eliminating them from your home.

The medication would have already killed off the mites she had at the time of treatment. I'm not sure how long it is til the next ones emerge from the eggs. You may be ok, but since your other rabbits aren't also receiving treatment, you'll want to keep an eye out for signs of them getting mites as well. Or you could ask your vet for extra treatments for your other buns to give now so you don't have to risk it.

If you are using revolution, it needs to be the mauve (light purple) color tubes. That is the one that is safe to use on rabbits. Also the dosage goes by their weight.

What...?
All the colours are safe to use on rabbits, because all colours are the exact same drug. You should not be administering the drug by the colour of the box, you ALWAYS need to check drug dosage before hand and rabbits get a different dose then dogs or cats. 18mg/kg is the recommended dosage for rabbits.

The vet gave me the dose. I don't have to measure it out.
