The breeder I got my bunny from said that Belldandy was a purebred mini lop. How do you show bunnies? Is there sometype of requirements they must meet? I think she is beautiful but then again it is a mommy's opinion...lol.

Thanks for your help.

If you could please put your location (at the very least your country) in your profile that would enable you to get the right advice because it will differ country to country :)

Go to the American Rabbit Breeders Assoc. website... www.arba.net

There you will find all kinds of information and also a list of shows in your area. Then you contact the show secretary listed for a catalog.

I recommend you go to a few shows first before you show yours. This way you can get a feel for what goes on. Rabbit shows can be overwhelming to first time showers.

Also, contact a few Mini Lop breeders in your area. Perhaps they are willing to help you at the shows. You can find the National Mini Lop club website link under "breeds" on the ARBA website.

Thanks I didn't know if it was like dogs where you need papers or not...lol. Like I said I think she is perfect but I'm also her mommy...lol.

I don't believe they have to be registered or have a pedigree to be shown.

You would have to get her tattood. They needa name or identifying mark tattoo in the left ear.

A pedigree is not required, but a permanent tattoo is required. What general area of Ohio are you from?

The Columbus "Mini Convention" in the spring is a HUGE show - you'll have to be sure to get to that one!
