Okay, for the past few days i've been giving Peter fruit and such but he won't bite it. I know that if he won't take it from my hand I should put it in the cage but even when I put it in the cage or even in his food bowl he doesn't realize its a treat and that it's edible and will just skip it when eating. lol. I've tried this with about 4 different fruits now so I'm guessing that it's not just his preference. Maybe if I give him something thats bright like his chew blocks he will notice it?

Any other suggestions on how to get him to notice his treat?

Hi some bunnies just don't like fruit. Can I ask what kind you are trying to feed then?

All of mine except Winston LOVE Blueberries (I heard last week on the newsthat they are very good for animals toeat, something about antioxidents). The others go nutsfor them.. They also like bananas, apples, cantelope, raspberries, strawbwerries.....

I bought a dehydrator and now dry some fruits for them All I have to do is shake the container and they are going nuts.

Keep trying i'm sure one of these days Peter may surprise you and eat some fruit.

Hmm.. well, I've already tried feeding him banana, apple, carrot and pear. It doesn't seem to be working out too well. I could see them liking dried fruit lol it's soo good!
maybe I should try berries.. you never know.
I'm sure he'll come around, he's a good rabbit, he just needs more focus, but he makes quick progress I'm pretty sure he just doesn't like to be touched which is fine by me. :big wink:
