He did it again... lunged and bit for no reason .... this time he gotHollie's wrist, dug in deep and literally, clung on !! Shelifted her arm with him still clinging on and consequently has a verynasty bite on her arm, whichis swollen and bruised aswell ashaving bled badly. It's getting to the point where no onewants to go near him - (he likes to chase and dig his teeth intoo!)

Will neuturing cure this .. or have we just got on cross bunny for life?

Pipp became much less aggressive when she was spayed, so hopefully it will help Benji.

However, also don't be afraid to dominate your little bunny. My vet explained that one, and I guess the cats were listening, becausethey stopped running and started standing their ground, and Pipp wentfrom an attacking bunzilla to beingdownright docile aroundthem. :)

Also, I found when I showed her I wasthe boss (well, Ipretended to be the boss, and she actually swallowed it)withadominance motion -- whichpretty muchmeantrestraining her (I would think using gloves with Benji)-- she'd pretty immediatelystop strugglingand/oracting outand start licking, so I guessit got thepoint across.

They sayyou can just briefly hold their heads down, but thatnever worked with Pipp. I kept her feetontheground, but held her pointedly and firmly.

They don't think you're mean, just the dominant member of the herd. :muscleman:
Worth a try.

Good luck!

Unfortunately you can't be sure ofanything. Usually neutering helps, but not always.I would try, because it sounds like anything would be worth tryingright now. LOL Honestly, neutering is typicallyhelpful in these kinds of situations.

Benji is a Netherland Dwarf, am I correct? I hate togeneralize and I'm really not, because I have met some wonderfulNethies, but the majority have just had an attitude.
