i just don't know what to make so thats why i'm asking a big variety of them cuz i've never even been to the spa! not once! so i dont know what to make and give her.

Milk bath
3 cups dried milk
5-6 drops fragrance oils
Mix ingredients and place in jar. Add 1/2 cup to bath water.

Bath gel
3/4TH cup water
1 packet unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup baby shampoo or bubble bath
5-6 drops essential oil or fragrance
Heat water to boiling, remove from heat and dissolve gelatin into water. Add the shampoo slowly and stir until combined. Add fragrance Pour mix in jar and place in fridge. Scoop out as much as needed for each bath.

Bath salt.
1/2 gallon ebsom salts.
1 cup baking soda
Food coloring as desired
Vanilla, almond or peppermint extract as desired for scent.
Place salts, baking soda, color and scent into a bowl. Mix well and pour into desired jar. 1/2 cup per bath.

Bath bombs.
1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup citric acid
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 TBSP. plus 1 tsp almond, mineral or baby oil.
2 tsp water
1-2 tsp. essentail oil or fragrance.
1/4 tsp borax
desired food coloring.
Mix baking soda, citric acid and cornstarch. Mix wet ingredients and the borax and slowly add to dry ingredients. Mix slow or it will bubble to much. Pack into mold (I used an ice cube tray) Let dry 24 hours.
Use 1-3 per bath store in airtight container.
Pack very tight into molds as this is crumbly stuff. If it wont hold its shape add another tsp of oil.

After bath splash.
1/2 cup vodka (yes vodka)
1/2 tsp. fragrance oil.
1 Tbsp glycerin
Combine ingredients and shake well..

Lip balm.
1 tsp. beeswax beads.
1 tsp sunflower oil
1 tsp coconut oil.
2-5 drops of any flavoring you like (optional of course)
1 capsule vitamin E.
Heat oil and beeswax until melted. Add the rest of the ingredients Mix well. Use a dropper to place in tubes or small jars (this really is good stuff)
Good mix ins with the lip balm I have found to be shea butter, almond oil, cocoa butter, olive oil. About a tsp of one of these is great.

Paraffin bath.
6 pounds canned paraffin wax (used for canning)
1/4 cup baby oil and a few drops essential oil.
Cut paraffin into chunks and heat on low in double boiler.
When melted add mineral oil and essential oil. Mix well and remove from stove and cool to 124 on a candy thermometer.
When cool rub hands with lotion Dip one hand into wax without touching bottom of pan. Remove hand and allow was to harden for a few seconds. Repeat 5-10 times on each hand before wrapping waxed hands in plastic for 30 minutes. Peel wax off and put away cause it can be used again (this is something you and mom can do together and it really is amazing)...

Massage oil.

1 cup oil. (mineral, sunflower or olive)
15 drops essential oil.
Mix well.Store in pretty jar.

Hi patches2593
Handmade spa products can be as good as, or even better than, commercially produced goods. Beauty and bath products are always popular and they're relatively inexpensive to manufacture. Your own kitchen is probably already equipped with the paraphernalia you'll need and the ingredients are readily available, either in stores, or on the internet

I make my own sugar scrub out of oatmeal, brown sugar and olive oil. Add a little vanilla and it smells wonderful.
