Steve has gone to Dublin with a mate of his for a web devloper's conference (Oh, and to drink Guinness lol). He left this morning, and he wont be back until about 9pm Saturday night!

I'm sat in the living room watching TV, but I am a TOTAL wuss on my own lol, and it's just occurred to me that I'm sat in front of our living room window, and now flashes from Scream! have gone through my mind LOL and I'm scared!

I HATE being on my own! I don't know how I coped living in a flat on my own for a whole year. I'm such a baby!

I wish it was Saturday already- I miss my fiance! :cry1:

Aww, Jen! I know how you feel!

When Will and I first started living together, he left out-of-town to go by his family for Thanksgiving (I didn't go because I wanted to be by my family :D). I was so afraid to fall asleep! Our roommate wasn't home, either! It was just Toby and I! I didn't sleep well until he got home. I know how it goes. Every little creak in the floor makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up!

Hey! If anything happens, throw dried pineapple at them and send Dotty after them! :p If anything, it will make them seem less-threatening!

Lol, as much as I love my wonderful husband, after 16 years of marriage I long for the two weeks every year that he goes hunting with his buddies. It's my annual "marriage vacation". Very therapuetic.

LOL! That sounds like a good idea! I shall keep dried pineapple by my bed tonight.... Oh wait, that wont work- that'll just attract the theif- aka Dotty lol!

I'm hoping she'll feel like sleeping on the bed with me tonight to keep me company lol....:)

Patti, I can never see me being like that! It's not that I don't like the break- I'm going away with my friends next month and I can't wait, it's just the being on my own that I hate. Apart from when Steve left at about 11am, I've not seen a soul all day!

I am hopefully having people over tomorrow night though so that shouldn't be too bad. It just sucks because I can't drive at the moment etc, so it's hard for me to go out and do stuff on my own. Like, Steve has to make sure I have plenty of groceries and bunny veg in the house before he left so that if I need anything, it will just be small that I can carry back from the shops. LOL!

I don't suppose Steve collects medieval-style weapons, does he? My brother-in-law works third shift and his wife is creeped out by sleeping alone, so she keeps one of his smaller axes on her bedside table.:D

Hey Slavetoabunny, nice to see another deer hunter's widow! Mine just hunts on his family's nearby land though, so I'm manless for the day and then I get a dirty, stinky man when he comes home.:rollseyes

No dirty, stinky man hanging a deer in the tree in your yard? :p

My dad did that... I wonder why I had a weird childhood lol

I was thinking about it, and I realized that Will and I haven't gone an evening without seeing and/or speaking to each other in over two years. If he were out of town and I couldn't talk to him, I would be devastated! :nerves1

Mine travels to Colorado and goes to the manly "hunting camp" every year. Last year he hunted muzzle loader (early season) and says he's going to do that again this year. He usually visits family in Ft. Collins after hunting, so I can usually count on his total absence for close to 3 weeks. Don't get me wrong...I love the guy and will spend the rest of my life with him, but a few weeks a year to be by myself with the bunnies is priceless. I usually schedule a few days of vacation from work too.

Steve is a geek. He collects Macbooks. Maybe I could throw them frisbee-style at anyone? :biggrin2: I'm sure he wouldn't mind! LOL!

Luckily, I do still get to speak to him. He called me earlier, and he has Wi-Fi in the hotel so he came on MSN earlier (he has to do work in his spare time over there too lol, bless him!). It's not the same though :)

Oh, and funny thing, I was just flipping through the music channels and this was on! LOL!

I have a feeling that if anyone tried to get you, Dotty would pin them down and hold them for you ...... while she suffocated them LOL!

Oh no! I don't want her to kiss anyone else lol!! :p

It may have nearly killed me, but hey, it's bunny kisses! Beggars can't be choosers! :biggrin2:

She wouldn't kiss them..... she's hold them and suffocate them and then...... poo on them! HAHHAHAHA!

We have spent every night in the last 3 years together. When I did an overnight for inventory he didn't. I walked into the apartment and we we were both like never again. Mind you it isn't fear we just missed each other.

Than again we get asked at work how we do it. We work together almost EVERY day. We don't go anywhere without the other. We are together almost 24/7.

Do you work together as well?! It just occurred to me that I don't think I've ever asked what Rob does, lol...

See, Steve works at home a LOT so we spend a lot of time together too. It's not that we can't be apart, we just don't like it lol. When we got together I was always trying to keep him at arm's length so we didn't get too serious too soon, but within weeks we were spending every night at each other's place, and we moved in together after only 4 months! We work well together as a team :) Mind you, that doesn't mean we don't have some HUGE rows every now and then! ;)

Dotty as a guard rabbit. LOL. David keeps saying he'd love to see the burgler's face when our (future) Flemish Giant puts his paws on the guys shoulders:biggrin2:
I love it when David is away which doesn't happen a lot. I sleep diagonally across the bed. Pure bliss:)

Aaah yeah that's the one perk I've found! I sleep diagonally too!

In fact, when he gets out of bed in the mornings I always automatically take over and sleep diagonally. Although sometimes in my sleepiness I don't always look at the time and sometimes he's only going to the bathroom because it's too early to get up, and several minutes later I am awoken by a very angry Steve telling me to move over lol!!

I had a couple of friends over tonight. We watched Pineapple Express and played some Wii. It was nice to see people for a bit, made it a LOT less boring! Steve is out in Dublin and obviously had a few too many Guinnesses, because he was sending me text messages that made NO sense whatsoever. He will have a very big headache tomorrow! Oh well, he does deserve a break, he's been working pretty much non-stop recently, bless him :(

He will be home tomorrow at about 9pm! YAY! :D

Yea we work togther. Different parts of the store but we do help each other out very often.

Sounds like us.

I do that when Will is home. I'm half his size, yet somehow, I scoot him over to a tiny corner of the bed, while I am all sprawled out and comfy. I've actually knocked him out of the bed before while sleeping... :expressionless
