I have a few Q's about the HLRSC.

#1. how much does it cost to join?

#2. do you have to have a pedigreed Holland Lop to join?

#3. is the Hollander good? what types of articles does it have?

thanks!

Anna

P.S.(to the Mods) if this is not the right place feel free to move it!

I've been a member for many years, although we no longer actively show Hollands.

Have youchecked out the HLRSC site? http://www.hlrsc.com/

There is a printable membership form and more info on the club. Membership is $15 for adults and $12 for youth. You not only get the magazine with great articles, but also the official Holland Lop Guidebook - well worth the cost of your membership!

You don't need to own Holland Lops to become a member of the club.

Youth is through 18. On a youth's 19 birthday, they become adult/open.

I believe the Hollander is black/white. (I haven't looked through it recently)

Varied topics are covered. A regular feature is "In My Opinion" moderated by Tracy Lukeman. IMO features breeders writing in on the topic chosen for that issue.

The Hollander also has officer reports and sweepstakes standings.

Also - lots of great photos of awesome Hollands!

I just received the most recent issue.

Articles featured include "Judging Holland Lops" by Chris Zemny, '05-'06 Top Lops, and "What Makes a Good Holland Lop Judge?".
