Holiday Ornament

I just got this in an email this morning and thought I would pass it on:

[align=left]I am pleased to announce that the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) has created a holiday ornament witha RABBIT on it. Since I have been complaining to them for three years that their promotional materials (calendars, tote bags, note cards or whatnot) have NEVER had a rabbit on them, we had best support this item so that they will know that rabbit inclusive items WILL SELL and generate income.[/align]

[align=left]IT IS IMPERATIVE that we work to get the public to see rabbitsas popular pets who have the same respect as cats and dogs. This will help to ensure their protection from becoming fur and cuisine because of the fear of the collective yowl and consumer revolt that would result. The law does not protect rabbits from either of these fates so it's up to us and the public to do so. Having HSUS recognize the importance of companion rabbits will help raise public awareness about our beloved buns and further our work to save them.[/align]

Oh wow, that's great! Thanks for sharing, Patti! That ornament looks snazzy!

For some reason, I've been noticing *a lot* of rabbit-themed ornaments this year... it's hard not to glomp them all up! DH and I don't even have a "real" Christmas tree, lol! We just have a small tabletop one, that could hold probably 10 ornaments total!
