Holiday Cleaning!

Well, we just moved out here a few months ago,and the place is still a mess! No one is ever home, I'm always atschool, parents always at work, so we still have piles of boxes thathave never been unloaded! The house is also a mess as well and indesparate need of cleaning. Looks like a tornado hit it.

Now we have people actually coming over tomorrow (gasp!), and we'remaking a mad dash to make this place look presentable. Anyone else havea messy house and is doing a mad dash to get it all spiffy forThanksgiving?

I'm procrastinating at the moment, however.

The whole cleaning thing isn't working out too well :sweep

I go through periodically and do major cleanings, however, there is nodoubt that our house is lived in. We homeschool, sowe're home all day and that doesn't lend to the house staying clean.

My mom, my husband, and I have a house togetherand her only request today was to see the living room (the room we all*live* in and all pets are allowed in) clean. So I justfinished that... except my computer desk, lol. Then I letLivingston loose and he's scared of the clean floor lmao. Hekeeps running to the doorway then going back into ourbedroom. It's too funny.

Of course all of the animal gear got thrown into our bedroom so itlooks like a tornado hit in there but the rest of the house is clean We have a LOT of animal stuff :shock:

We did just clean the bedroom up but the problem is that all the stuffis stacked up and that makes it hard to get to stuff, lol but you cansee the floor again (plus Livingston peed on the bed so we had to pulloff all the bedding to wash it)

I randomly desided to clean the whole of my bedroom out Weds - my dayoff college. I started at 1pm and I finished at midnight:shock:Well I didnt exactly finish either! I just made itlook acceptable and made it so it was possible to get in my bed tosleep that night. My bedroom is the smallest room in thehouse and I only managed to finish half of the room! I gotrid of loadz of things and took it to the charity shop. Iwiped down my wardrobes, cupboards, and all the walls and the water inthe bucket was black :?

I still have one side of my room to do! I am goingto start on that tomorow. So hopefully I can go to bedearlier than midnight tomorow night!
