snickers has been in for the winter and i have been having some problems with picking her up to bring her to run. i know rabbits dont like to because of prey instincts but i usually pet and talk to her then try to pick her up and she jumps over my arm (i am picking her up from the top of the hutch). i usually get the carrier and make her go in and the take her out and pick her up. she like to cuddle with me and then run- which can be a problem.. if i take her out in my room (carpeted) then she is ok except for the 2 accidents because she was resting and i didnt lets her go to the bathroom, but when i take her out down sellar (where her hutch is, she is fine for a little while then he starts digging and biting at these foam mats that interlock . i know digging is a natural thing, but she does it on the wall and scrapes her teeth on the floor. i have tried going 'ssshhht' and whacking the floor with my hand like how they do it with their feet when they are unsure/mad. what can i do??:confused2:

I'd say to replace the foam mats with a sheet of linoleum.

And give her something to chew on & dig in, like a box of paper with a cardboard hide box on top that she can enlarge the openings of.

we have linoleum under the mats and is was too slippery for her. she does have a cardboard box and some chew toys
