I was trying the hand on the head idea with asharp no for the past 3 days. It didn't work. I would set him back andand the minute I do, chew chew chew on me. Well just a few minutes ago(hes on my lap) I gave up, put my sweatshirt up and made a basket andlet him chew away. After having a few chewing attacks on the cloth (noholes thank god) he stopped and now he is laying down on me sweetly.Any idea why

?

That's odd. Good luck I guess? Maybe he realizedthat nibbling doesn't get him the attention that he craves. Well, atleast it stopped.

lol what a trouble maker he is he got yourattention you tookof the shirt let him have what he thought he wanted ,then found out it was no fun lol , what a stinker , once you took theshirt off and he chewed you didnt say anything therefor taking away theattention lol . babies what stinkers .

It is a theory of mine that some young bunsmight be "teething" like human children do and that would account for the strong desire to chew.

I've found that most buns chew less as they mature and become more gentle in te process as they attempt to groom one another more and more.

Just my observations.

I dont think hes a baby, he is about two yearsold. He then just nibbled me gently so I could let him down. I had tojump on him and bring him to the litterbox, he is still learning to useit outside of the cage
