Hi There! :)I love to BLOG so I decided, hey, I should join in here! =) In this post, I will just introduce my furry family, including all of them because I'm sure the bunnies wouldn't want them to be left out, I'm sure. :D:biggrin2::)

Luken Messy - Luken is a black English Spot who is only 3 1/2 months old. I bought him at a rabit show from my good friend who breeds/raises/shows English Spots and Belgian Hares. He is just an adorable little buck and is just getting over an eye ulcer.

Her's Cracker Jack - Dewey is a lynx Holland Lop who is only 2 years old. I didn't give him his pedigree name, but it is kind of cute! Dewey is just an adorable litte buck and he reminds me of a teddy bear! I got him from a girl who used to do 4-H. I took him to a show, and he didn't do the greatest due to having a smaller head than wanted and going through a molt, but he went through his secoad head growth!

Black Jack - Black Jack is a black Mini Rex who is 2 years old. He isn't very social, but he will let you pet him. He is going through a molt at this time. He is cute though. Supposedly, according to the lady, he took 5th place in the Best of Opposite Sex class.

J's Jack O Lantern - Jack is a black Mini Rex who is 8 months old. He is my brother's rabbit, but he is just so cute and shiny. So lovable and adorable, although he has given me a fair share of scratches. He loves to throw all of his food out of his dish, and wasting it.

Abigail's Fantasy - Abby is a castor Mini Rex whois 4 months old. She is just so cute and currently shares a cage with her "sister" Starly. They share one because they get along so well and seem so sad when they are apart.

Starly - Starly is a cute little mixed breed, mixed with Mini Rex. She is 4 months old. She is such a cute girl and gets along so well with Abby. She is just so soft and cuddly, but will let you know when she doesn't want to be held.}

LuLu - LuLu is a broken black Holland Lop who is 5 years old. She is very cute, but totally has a 'tude about her. But it's cute. She can be so nice and friendly, but does have a "evil" side, but it is so adorable!

CoCo - CoCo, formerly Mini Me, is a castor Mini Rex who is 2 years old. She is so super cute and has big eyes and a big dewlap. She is just so affectionate and was really overweight when I first got her, but she's down now. I had given her to my friend, but I just got her back tonight after my friend had her since October 3rd, 2009. I missed her, and my Mom and I are so glad to have her back!!!

Zeus is my German shepherd and is a retired K-9. He is my baby. Scooter is our little mixed breed and is so adorable and at 8 years old is so full of life and energy. He is a small dog. ELD Worlord "Cash" is my registered Arabian retired racehorse. Totally sweet and very mild mannered. I love him!!! He is my first horse and is 15 years old, 15 hands. Tess is my brother's Quarter Horse mare. Both are on our property. I have a sweet kitty Sunshine, calico. My brother has a orange tabby-like kitty Simba. I have a gorgeous fish Skimmpy, and my brother has a wonderful hamster Smokey.

So, yup, that's the furry family! =) Stay tuned for our next post! :pinkbouce:

Wow! Today was a lot of work with the bunnies. FYI, since rabbits, I DO NOT have a weekend life, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Today my neighbors came over and helped me brush them and put them outside for lots of fresh air. They cleaned pans with me and we weighed them (my current method is weighing myself and then holding them and weighing them, which turned out to be pretty accurate).

The bunnies are being brushed every day and nails are being trimmed as needed (no, not every day LOL!), and everybody gets a show conditioner supplement at night (I don't start that until about a month and a half before a show because it gets expensive for me!), but everybody gets show feed everyday all year round.

Black Jack! He scared me today. We were grooming him on the table next to the six-hole AND HE ALMOST JUMPED FOUR FEET ON TO THE TOP!!! Luckily we caught him in time! My little jumper.

I weighed them, and some of them are a little over. Black Jack (Mini Rex) is 5lbs and 4oz, LuLu is 4lbs and 4 oz, and Miniis 6 lbs, 4 oz, so the auto feeders have to come out for those bunnies. I just hope I get them down in time, but not just for the show, for their health! Not sure that I am showing Mini though.

I have to seperate the two girls for now until show day, because Starly is chewing on Abby's fur, so now she has an almost bald spot on her back, I just hope that grows in!!!

Well, I'm off to a shower and some dinner. Until next time! :pink iris:Meg

There's such of a thing as a weekend? I thought that Saturday and Sunday were short names for "cage cleaning"...

Wow at Black Jack's jumping...that would scare me too.

Nice to see your blog!

It's always busy around here, as usual, and even more so because we have Thanksgiving coming up and a rabbit show coming up, and two does to palpate tomorrow (they're not going to the show). It'll be an exciting show for a couple of reasons!

1. Rabbit shows are ALWAYS fun and exciting, basic and obvious reason!
2. I've got two new rabbits to put up on the show table, no, make that three when we GET there (you'll see later in this post) and one (Holland Lop buck) that went through his second growth phase and is NOT molting this time!
3. This show is a double is the last show until March of 2010!
4. This is my brother's first time showing HIS own rabbit!

Okay, more on the "I've got two new rabbits to put up on the show table, no, make that three when we GET there" part. YES! I'm purchasing another rabbit from my good friend, Ashley. He's a lilac English Spot buck with excellent type, heavy marked. Of course, I have two pictures to show to you all! :)Would I be a very fair and nice person if I denied pictures? NO! But they will be at the end of this post as I still have to get the link as I'm typing all of this. :biggrin2:

Also, my other friend, from whom I bought Dewey (my Holland Lop buck), is selling a 6-hole stackable cage set for $100 and I am making payments on it, and my brother is looking for another rabbit and is entertaining her Holland Lop doe.

I also have a Netherland Dwarf I will be showing, but it's not mine, it will be my friend's. Wow, I am going to have Mini Rexes, Holland Lop, English Spots and a Netherland Dwarf at different judging tables! I got lucky last time when they called Mini Rex and Holland Lop at the same time, BOTH time because the tables were side-by-side.

Yes, I'm anxious about that, I do NOT want to miss anything! But, I will check out the tables beforehand. I have to enter by 8:00am, and we are an hour and a half away, so up early for us! But, we all love rabbit shows.

My bunnies are doing good, brushing them everyday. They get their special show supplement everyday, and they love that stuff! Well, I'm going to do some last minute things before I head to bed.

OH! My Mom is allergic to rabbits, and she can't take Benadryl unless she REALLY has to, and can't take any OTC allergy stuff, so anyone have some ideas???

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE AND EVERYBUNNY! :pinkbouce:

Wow, did this year fly by or what? It sure seems like it did. We had a wonderful time today!Mybrother, Mom and Iwatched our state's parade, we spent the afternoon together and my grandparents and uncle arrived, my dad came home, and my other aunt and uncle stopped by for a few and then they left. Then we had dinner and just talked and visited for awhile. It was a GREAT time!

I joked with the bunnies this morning because everyone looked like THEY had some Thanksgiving dinner themselves! LOL They were so sleepy and tired-looking, poor things. But some fresh food and water perked them right up!

So...We have...1 week, 1 day, 6 hours, 53 minutes and 48 seconds left until the show! So excited! Very!

Well, I better be going. We're going shopping in a few hours! Wooohooo!:highfive:
