Nice forum you guys have, I run one as well, though it's not bunny related. I have a English spot mix (I think) and got her after I lost my mini rex. Her name is Billy and is just a ton of fun, and likes to get in a ton of trouble.

Thought I should post a pic of her since she's why I'm here............

Thank you, she rules the house! I live in Plymouth which is about halfway between Ann Arbor and Detroit. I'd love if we could just get back to 30 degrees, lol.

You live right near the shelter! They are on N. Holbrook St in Plymouth. You shouldcheck them out- they always need volunteers if you ever have free time. http://www.rabbitrr.org They need people to feed, clean, socialize and sometimes foster bunnies.

Definitely look into getting her spayed. There are so many rabbits in MI who need homes (the shelter has over 150 and has to turn bunnies away every day bc they dont have enough room). Its also so much healthier for them- female rabbits have a very high risk of uterine cancer.

Let me know if you need any help or advice. I also know lots of good rabbit savvy vets in your area if you need one :)

Yeah, I know where that is! Actually I'd love to go there and look into volunteering.

And yeah, I was planning on having her spayed because of that. I used to be a vet tech for a vet here in town, but was thinking of taking her to Dr. Cavander in Salem for the procedure since she is more up on exotics and farm animals.

I'll definitely come to you for any advice. While I know some, you learn something new everyday.

AWW! Your cats and bunny are soo adorable together! How did you bond them? I'm worried about my cats chasing the bunnies. Welcome to the forum! :)

Cool! They can always use all the help they can get! Its just an old warehouse with loads of bunnies in it but it works :) Laura, the one who handles adoptions, is actually a member here. Everyone there is awesome.

The rescue used to use Dr. Cavendar for spays and neuters. I had her spay a few of my fosterbunnies as well. I guess they were having some problems with her and the spays weren't going so well. They are using someone different now and Im not sure who. The absolute best bunny vet in that area is Dr. Hynes of Cherry Hill Animal Clinic in Westland, but she can be a bit pricey. Its usually worth it with bunnies though to pay the extra $ because theres not many who know a whole lot about them.

Anyway, Im rambling. Welcome to you and your little one!

Well first off, despite popular belief, Siamese are probably one of the most loving breeds of cats. Second, if mom is yelling, everyone is running. So it's best for all to get along. Thanks for the welcome!

Well I could go to my regular vet, Dr Gorman, who I worked for. Just want the best for her, I couldn't stand to lose another. Celie left me for unknown reasons, left me heartbroken. She liked beer too.................

Celie is beautiful, looks like she was guarding her beer, you weren't trying to take one without permission were you?;)
LOL, she was quite a character, she ran the house too!

Hello, and welcome to the forum! You critters are adorable! That's means a lot, coming from me because I'm not partial to kitties. Yours are cute, though! :) I wind up going through Plymouth a couple times per year to visit my boyfriend's family (they're in Clinton Twp and Rochester). You better watch out, I might come nab up your adorable little Billy! ;) Hehe!

LOL, there are days she makes me pull my hair out, so hopefully you don't catch me on a bad day and I don't just hand her over! She's taken to chewing on the corners of the walls. Drywall repairs, here we come!
