Hi Everybody, I'm Emily. I've been a member in lurking mode for several months and know many of you from another rabbit forum, so I thought I'd step up and introduce myself formally to everyone else.
I have 2 bunnies, Bennett (b&w mini lop boy) and Fiona (silver marten girl).
Bennett is 5 years old. He's our first bun and we got him from a local breeder. He is my gentlebun :bunnyheart
Fiona's a special girl, she is almost 5 and developed a hind leg deformity when she was about a year old. She wouldn't believe you if you tried to tell her though, the only thing she can't do is scratch her ear. She runs, binkies, and hops on the levels in her condo just like anybunny else.
Bennett and Fiona bonded during the 7 hour car trip home from picking up Fiona from her foster parents. They have their own room in our house with a big 3 level condo, and free run of the rest of the house when we're home.
I also have a 13 month old son, Ian, who already loves the bunnies. And I'm so incredibly impressed and blessed that Bennett and Fiona seem to like him back. I think they must know Ian's just a little baby and are very patient with him. DH and I are adding to our crew...I'm 4 months pregnant and due in mid-December.
I can already tell there's a huge amount of great info here and very active members. I look forward to getting to know all of you and hearing about your bunnies!!
