Hi all i'm new here... just got a little bunny from a pet store... my hubby and I have been wantin to get one or a few...
Bunny... (we havnt decided on a name so we call her bunny) is about2lbs... i'm not sure what breed... in my xcitment to find a bunny under$30 I forgot to ask how old she was or how big she might end up...lol... she does look very healthy though... clear bright eyes(black)... soft well kept fur(white with brown ears and a few browndots on her body)... she has long floppy ears but she can hold them upstraight and does about2/3 of the time.... She is veryfriendly... will walk up to you... very curious... active... will letyou walk up to her...
we introduced her to our dog and cat... our dog loves our cat... hewill play with her and share a bed with her... so we figured he'd begreat friends with the bunny too... Ash(our dog) was thrilled to have anew friend... the cat(still only 7months old) was very curious too...bunny and our cat(meowser) are about the same size so I wasnt tooworried bout one intimidatin the other...
I will be sure to post apic of Bunny soyou all cansee and tell me what you think of as in breed... future size... age ifthat's possible...
question: how do you think she will behave around day-old chicks? Just curious cause we are gettin some on monday...
I like watchin different animals interact... I actually got my kittenfor my dog and because of him... i'm not much of a cat person myself...but i wanted to get my dog a friend but didnt want to get another dogat the time... my dog is bout 28" and 75lbs but is gentle as a lamb...he is very wary of animals feelings too... if he feels they areintimidated he will lay down and put his head down on the floor... andhe never barks at new animals... he makes friends first and then heonly barks in play... very cute to watch...
