Hi guys, I'm trying to get this bunny. She is about 12 weeks old and she hasn't been spayed.

What do you guys think about her?? Is 12 weeks a good age to get a bunny? I been googling and it seems age doesn't really matter too much. The seller is selling her for $40 which I think is reasonable for a lionhead type.

But please please please let me hear your input and advices... This is my first bunny... i had hamster and guinea pigs before but bunny i think is more fun!

Thanks

Here is the link for the bunny...

Do you think she's about the right age? Seller said she's about 10" but it might be that her fur is a lot...

But she's really 12 week old for her size??

12 weeks is perfect, as bunnies should be at least 8 weeks old before sold/purchased. You will have to keep in mind, that a young bunny still has to go through maturity which can result in a lot of unwanted behaviours like lunging, biting, urine spraying, defensive behaviour etc. While most rabbits are not too extreme, they are mostly prevented/reduced with spaying which can be expensive depending on where you live.

Something to keep in mind, is that her long fur is going to get super easily tangled and matted, so daily brushing will be required. You have to be careful when she molts too, since rabbits can't cough up furballs like cats do, they have to pass the fur in their poop, and if there's too much it can cause a blockage. Also keep in mind, that once you take her in, her litter habits will probably be messy for a few weeks while she marks her territory before she settles in and uses a tray again consistently.

Otherwise, she looks a happy, healthy bunny. And yes, she does look around a bite the right age for 12 weeks.
