I am a rabbit breeder in Nova Scotia,Canada.

I use to raise Mini Rex but got out of breeding for a year but started back in to rabbits this spring.

At the moment i have2 Holland Lop does and 1 Holland Lop buck.and 1 Mini Rex buck.

Glad to find this site as i love to read how other breeders are doing.Thanks.:)

Hi there,

Welcome to the forum :)

The Rabbitry is the most likely place for you to meet other breeders :)

I hope you find the site friendly and I look forward to seeing you around :)

Take care

Tracy

Hi Rabbit Owner! Welcome to the newforum!

Are you going to breed the Holland Lops? What colours are you looking for?
Rainbows! :bunnydance:

Can you help me identify this rabbit? We bunnysat him last week, but I'm not sure if he is a Holland or a Mini Lop.

He weighs 2.38 Kg. (5 lbs. 2 oz.) Is that too heavy for a Holland? What would his colours be?

Rainbows! :)

Hi

I would say it is a Mini Lop as Hollands are 3 to 4 1/2 lbs max.

As far as color it is a broken tort but they come in many tort broken patterns.

Hope this helps.Thanks.:D

First of all...Welcome to the forum, rabbit owner!
Oooh, Holland Lops ;)

But yeah, if five pounds were still Holland Lop size, Butterfinger would still be with his breeder instead of at home with me :p So...it's possible that's a Holland Lop, if he's not a show bunny, but...the head looks kinda wrong fora Holland somehow (Just my opinion). He prooobably is a Mini Lop.

HOWDY FROM NEW BRUNSWICK! This is a really great site, and I hope you find everything you need :) I look forward to seeing lots of pics :)
