Hi from Lola and Nigel

Hi, I am Lola. I'm the very proud owner of a 9 month old, male, Netherland Dwarf called Nigel. He is mainly a house rabbit and loves to sit in his lush rabbit bed watching T.V, seems to like soaps! I am currently wondering if i should have him neutered? Any advice?

Welcome! Neutering can never hurt. I mean, with any surgery there are risks, but they usually are far outweighed by benefits in behavior and overall health. Many report their spayed/neutered bunnies are happier and make better pets, tend to be less destructive, less marking, etc. Others can put in more on the health benefits, but welcome to you and Nigel!

I guess it is easier to neuter a male than a female? How long is the recovery and what tips are there for aiding bunny back to full health?

Ours are all neutered. We restricted their movements for a week. Had no problems with any of the males.
