We got Stoney a year ago from a neighbor and put her in an addition on one side of the chicken coop. She was kept in an above ground hutch at her old home. We are in the process of building three new runs and coops for our twenty chickens and she will have her own little area sectioned off but with them. They get along well:sniffing noses, looking at each other, just general how are you throughout the day. We are almost finished but her area will finally have a run. She has never been on the ground and she should adapt well and enjoy getting her grass instead of me choosing for her.

What's the climate like where you live? We live in the desert and so keep our rabbits indoors.
