My name is anne .
My daughter and husband and myself have 2 beautify Holland Lops (Rosey & Sam) and their beautiful, adorable babies (Sam Jr., Posey (the pack leader and mischief maker), Smudge, Lucky and Elvis

Rosey lost her 1st litter, but all babies now are healthy and active - going on 7 weeks.

This was a planned pregnancy, and I am in the processing of screening people to be owners
I have turned down a few that seemed to just be impulse buying for their children.

Anyhow, our rabbits have a large, enclosed pen outside during the day (the babies stay inside unless I chaperone them while their outside with mom & dad) and are caged at night in their hutch.

Sam will be getting neutered this week...he's a great bun - more like a dog than a rabbit - loves being petted and fussed over...his mate is a bit more reserved, but loves to lounge by my feet when I'm at the computer.:D

I had a chinchilla rex when I was 16yr.old - and have also had a Netherland Dwarf.
My 2 daughters (one now has moved away and spread her wings) made the decision to raise 2 lops, and it was an instant match...my youngest (13yr.old) has always been the little mom when it comes to her pets...she rarely has to be reminded to change the goldfish bowl ...and never forgets to tend to her bunnies (older sis needed a little more 'encouragement', but she's a sweet kid none-the-less).

So we're numbering 7 bunnies, 2 guinea pigs (Monk & Hobbit) and 2 goldfish (Franc & Fabio)..

I look forward chatting with all of you.:)

Hi and welcome to RO.

Your Fur Babies sound real cute. I'd love to see pictures of all of them.

Susan:)

Welcome to the forum :)

Your babies are adorable!!

You're telling me...the first 2 weeks after they were born, I would bring them into my bedroom in their nest box and just watch them sleep...I'd have to get my 'bunny fix'...
Anyhow, have a couple women who've asked about adopting them who've had bunnies before, so hopefully all goes well when they're placed in their new homes..
we are keeping 'Smudge' (he's the pearl grey bun)...I'm gonna miss the others SO much....it's not bad enough I worry 'bout my own kids....I worry about my bunny's kids too,:blushan:...I know if I had more room I'd be tempted to keep them all.

Welcome to the forum Anneq. :welcome1

Babies! :panic: They are so cute. You better take more pictures of them now, because they grow up so fast. :D

Welcome to the forum! This is a great place to talk about your bunny's all you want without anyone thinking you need therapy!;)

Those are cute little bunny's you have too, so much cuteness in one spot!

:wave:hello and welcome. what a cute litter of buns:D

well done you for screening the future owners. i did the same when my labrador had puppies and found that the genuine people dont mind at all:biggrin2:

" found that the genuine people dont mind at al"

so true...had one lady send me an email in regards to my buns and all she said was..
'are they pedigreed'?
I was very clear in my post that they were PETS and not show rabbits...didn't even ask to see pictures :nerves1

Trust me Kyla...you can never just have 1 bun baby...they're like potatoe chips...you ALWAYS want more!:nerves1:D

Adopted out the little butterscotch baby & the white/silver baby ...they're got GREAT homes with a very 'pro-rabbit' family that has other rabbits as well, and kids who are very sweet and who are involved in rabbits like us....I am so blessed! (I'm gonna really miss those babys...they just brighten up my life)
