Hey, I'm going to be getting some Californian rabbits soon and I was wondering if someone would help me?.
I'm going to be keeping them outside in hutches but I want to make sure the hutches are big enough. I'm going to make the frame out of wood and then have wire in front and on the bottom. I need to be able to have the doe and a nesting box in it. Do you guys have any suggestions and/or a helpful video or something? lol. Thanks!.

Are these californians for breeding?

We kept ours in 36X36 cages individually. It was a 3 hole hutch for 1 buck and 2 does. Here is a picture of ours. If you use wire make sure there is baby saver wire on the bottom 1/3 of the walls. We didn't but ended up putting more wire over it and just off setting them
