Hey guys, I have an un-neutred dutch male rabbit named Scout, he's 3 years old but never really had any rabbit friends since he's the only one we have.

I am thinking of opening a bunny boarding facility but I want other bunny owners input first. I live in Brooklyn NY where alot of people cant have a bunny or have the time for their bunny so thats why I think I could make good business doing it.

Anyway, we are currently housing a friends female bunny (2.5 months old) shes living in the cage above our bunny and that image gave me the idea to have bunny boarding.

Tell me what you think about the boarding ok?

Hello and welcome.

Scout is quite handsome.

I would be worried about the health of your own bunny when bringing others in, unless you were able to keep them completely separate.

I'd also get your bun neutered before having him around unspayed females.

Hi and Welcome to RO.. I do not think opening your home to other buns when your bun is not fixed would be wise and I agree that you would need to have separate rooms for the "temp" buns..

They are addictive though aren't they?

Welcome. Scout is very handsome. He seems really sweet. I agree having him neutered would prevent possible health issues as well as unwanted babies.

Can I ask what kind of bedding are you using for Scout? Is he litter boxed trained?

People with rabbits are always looking for places to board their hopping friends.

Welcome to RO!

I love Scout, he's so adorable!:inlove:

I think you should get all buns neutered/spayed before trying to board them. You'll have better luck with dealing with them if you do that (or start there so to speak.):)

Best of luck!
