Hey~ c: I'm from Central Pennsylvania and just came into bunny ownership a few days ago - my first rabbit!

He was sort of a surprise, had to run out and got supplies and such, but we're getting along well. I'm attached already~ I do frown upon impulse pets, but I could not turn this guy away.

So, here is Benji

I had this leash/harness laying around from my guinea pig, who never liked it, but Benji took right to it. c:

I assume he's just a typical mutt bunny, but any info would be great. Maybe an age?

I have plans to get him neutered and get him a friend at some point. c:

Hi and welcome to RO!
I'm originally from Los Angeles but I'm currently studying Animal Science at Cornell University.
Welcome to the rabbit world. Your little guy is very cute. Where'd you get him?
His markings look like he could have some Dutch in him or some vienna markings from something else. You can try posting some pictures of him in our Rabbitry section to get some tips from some of our more knowledgeable breed guessers.

Hey there~ c:

He came from an agricultural 4H auction/sale thing, I think? He was kind of a gift so I'm not really sure. I was planning to go to the sale to get a friend for him eventually; I assume they are well taken care of and he was very friendly right off.

I don't really need to know his markings and all that, just a general breed so I can figure his adult size and plan for a cagemate and such~

Right, I'm not very good at guessing breeds, but his markings look like he might have some dutch (it's a breed - the black and white bun in my avatar is a dutch) in him. However, there are also other breeds that can carry vienna and give those white markings, so it's not foolproof.

Hi there ! welcome!!

If you everhave a sick bunny, please post in The Infirmary and include your rabbit's age, breed and health history as well diet and output details leading up to the problem.

I have listed some links I thought you might find interesting:

*For reference the Library section

*To brag or tell everyone about the antics of your bunny or just to talk about your day here is where to start a Bunny Blog, you can also look back at it later and remember when you had a life before your bunny.

*Now all the bunny’s like talk to each other when we mere slaves aren’t around in the Bunny Chat is the spot to be.

*Rabbits Online also has regional forums , this a good way to find a vet in your area that has experience with rabbits and to find out from other nearby of good sources of rabbit supplies.

The Let Your Hare Down section is for anything non-bunny related.

Here is a link tothat will help you and your bunny to connect, How To Bond With Your Bunny.

Now every forum has rules and ours can be found with this link Rabbits Online Forum Rules. This gives guidelines on what is acceptable, what is not and how we hope everyone will treat each other.

Everyone on this forum loves to see pictures of each other’s bunnies. So if you would like to post a picture this link will help you do that, Upload Photo's to Photo Gallery. Then in the post, you click on the "G" in the tool bar to insert your photo. Many people also use Photobucket. You just copy the img file and paste it into the post.

I am glad you have joined rabbits online and I look forward to seeing you around.
