hermit crab types

so i have 9 hermit crabs and i have no clue what kind/type they are. how can you tell what type they are? what are some types? ill try to post pics

I had no idea there were types. Are they fun pets? They always look cool at the pet store, but I have never had one.

I know there are fresh-water ones & salt-water ones.

You could probably find out more with an on-line search or go to Wikipedia.

ya. ill let them run around in the bathtub for an hour or so and they all live together in a tank. one of mine just molted which is exciting. but mainly all i do is care for them (cleaning, water , food)
