help with female rabbit :(

so my fiancees rabbit has been having some issues. first off she's been crying alot, and making more noise than normal when you pick her up. Today my fiancee came home to see one of her nails fell off. No blood on the paw or nail. Could something be seriously wrong?

"crying" is NOT normal for a rabbit and usually indicates severe pain or fear - I'd definitely get her in to see a rabbit-savvy vet. ray:

Now, what do you mean "crying"? Can you describe the sound?

Do you mean crying as in the sound, or crying as in tearing on her face from her eyes? Neither is normal, but the first would indicate pain which should be checked out immediately.

good point, it didn't occur to me that it could crying as in tears. in either case, a vet trip is necessary - teary eyes are often a sign of a tooth issue, such as an abscess.
