Gatsby has some very wet poops. They are his normal size and round but they're wet and sticky. He's only 2.5 months old. I'm not sure what's going on. Any advice is helpful. Thank you!

Has he had veggies, or just hay and pellets? If he’s had veggies, give him just hay and pellets until it clears up. Introduce new veg slowly and nothing too watery (cucumber, lettuce etc). If it gets worse, get him to the vet ASAP as diarrhea can be fatal x

How wet? Profuse watery or pudding like diarrhea is an emergency. Has it gone back to normal? If it's just a little bit of messy poop, that's not usually an emergency and is often from something they have eaten that has upset their digestion, especially if the poop goes back to normal after. Has he had anything new or unusual to eat recently, any sugary treats, any wilted or veggies that might have been slightly off or bad?

No new treats, last treat was a week and a half ago (3 dandelion heads). They're normal shape; just extra wet and sticky. He also hasn't been pooping in his litter box as much as he used to. (he used to poop in it 90% of the time but now it's 50% of the poop is in there. I took his pellets up yesterday and now they seem to be normal. Could I be giving to much pellets? Can that cause wet/sticky poops?

Being a young rabbit they are supposed to get a good portion of pellets while growing(unlimited or close to), but some bunnies can be too sensitive and might need to have a reduced amount. What exact diet do you feed him(pellet, hay, veg, treat, amount and type)? Also how much does he weight? Have you had him a while and his poop has always been normal then suddenly changed, or is he a new rabbit and you don't know if this is what it's normally like for him? Any way he could have gotten a crumb of something off the floor to upset his digestion?

Hi, what you posted yesterday looks like normal poop to me I wouldn't call it diarrhea. Last photo looks like cecotropes, also normal stuff, rabbits produce them all the time, just they eat them immediately and normally we don't see them, but sometimes when they are stressed they can forget to eat them then you can see, or if your bunny is overweight maybe he can't reach his bum, normally they eat them right away.

^ adding to what Poopy Poo said: sometimes a young rabbit will get distracted and forget to eat the cecals. If they are in a new environment or are stressed and scared, they won't eat them.
