Eggs... Are they safe for buns? I spent allthiss time making a big breakfast for my hubby this morning... Which included scrambled eggs... He set his plate down while he let the dogs out and 5 minutes later I walked into the living room and Mr.Cookie was up on the table sitting in his plate chowing down on his eggs.... He just about ate them all!! Probably 2/3 eggs worth!!!!

Is he gonna be ok? Anything I should watch out for?

Less urgently... He's got syrup all over his feet... Can I wash them? I don't want him licking it all off as it's just sugar...

:?

Mr Cookie is too much of a climber. I'm sure he's ok, but you'll want to keep it from happening again. And I'm sure your husband wasn't happy about losing his breakfast.

I'd suggest wet wipes for his feet, or a damp washcloth.

My dad's bunny has been known to jump onto tables and eat weird stuff (most notably...spicy curried tofu???) if people leave the room for even two minutes. She once ate fried rice with eggs...didn't seem to hurt her.

Keep an eye on him and make sure he consumes lots of hay and water, but he should be fine.

I hope he'll be okay!

My husband wants to know if there are pictures of all this. I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time, but your description had us laughing!

Yeah he's not THAT big of a jumper... The hubs set his plate on the cocktail table... He didn't think cookie would even be interested! Btw just about an hour after the incident he started racing around like a crazy person... Probably got some of that syrup... Andrew said he had a sugar crazed look in his eye!

I ended up having to actually wash his feet, they were so sticky! Wow! Did.he.hate.that. Lol and judging by how scratched up i am... Think it's time to trim his nails again...

And no I didn't get any pics... I was SO worried the eggs or something else was toxic, I didn't even think about it...

And I gave him a bunch more greens, hay, and water and he's been eating and pee/pooing normal and acting normal (aside from the hour of sugar crazedness lol)

Thanks for the reassurance... I was in tears, thinking they would kil him or something... Phew...
