I posted awhile back about an accidental breeding with my doe. This is her first litter. at 15 days she tried building a nest in the corner. I figured maybe she was acting like some of my other does who would make preparations a full 10 days ahead. ANYWAY I put the nestbox in and she built her nest. Today is her 28th day. Normally I can feel the kits squirming around at this point, but I can feel anything. She's more bloated though and her teets are redder. Maybe this is false pregnancy??

Could be either :)
Sometimes you can't feel movement but it doesn't always mean there are no babies.
I'd keep preparing as if she is actually pregnant.

It sounds like it could be either. We normally don't feel babies really moving around until about 48 hrs before they are born. I would just give her time, and if you know she bred, well there is a pretty good chance she babies babies on the way.

i test bred her and she didn't get angry. but she was mad at him last week. Do does lighten up right before they give birth?

Test breeding is more stress than anything. I use to do it and had does take right up till right before. It is just to stressful and sometimes used to cause the does to go into labour(whether it truely works I am not sure). I would leave her alone, moving her out of her cage will just be to stressful.

If you did not mean to breed her why are you risking her being getting bred if she is not pregnant? :S

Well you see, i was planning to breed her to my stud buck when there was a mix up with who was out in the play yard. Luckily she was bred to the right buck. I figured since it was convenient I rebred her an hour later.

Thanks for the tip :)

I just read that false pregnancies tend to happen 14-20 days after breeding. So maybe it's false?

It's only day 29 I just let her rest...

well, it must have been a false pregnancy. She never had kits... I'll plan a rebreeding soon (hopefully after her fur comes back in...)
