Romeo is a 14 week old holland lop. Since welcoming him into my home he has learned to use his litterbox and uses it so well that he sleeps out of his cage even at night. Last week I bought him "pet steps" to put beside my bed so he can come up and off the bed as he pleases. My problem is, he is potty trained when he is on the ground but the second he comes up onto the bed he pees!! Is this territorial? How do i stop my bun from peeing on my bed?!

My guy did the same thing with my couch. I think it has to do with the fact that it smelled like me. He is no longer allowed on the couch :(

It sounds like hey this is a new spot! mine!
Hes getting into his hormonal age now too. So it very well could be territorial.
I could stop allowing him on the bed until hes been neutered and/or out grows the hormones. Sometimes behaviours that happen for other reasons can be learned and still happen after the hormones go away. It comes a habbit. So if hes always allowed up, and always pees, he may think when all is said and done that he always can.

Im going to add to your title so people have a better idea what the topic is about :)
I like the pet step idea :)

I suspect you've got it right - it's territorial. Rather than try to keep him off the bed permanently, I'd put a puppy training pad on it (or a towel with a plastic sheet under it).

Both of my rabbits, Natasha and Scone, peed once or twice on the bed when they were first able to get up on it, and then stopped permanently. If he's anything like Scone and Natasha, once he's comfortable that he's made his point he'll stop peeing on the bed.
