My yard has been overrun by ants! I have been trying to find a safe way to get rid of the ants without risking my bunnies (which get to spend several hours each day in their outdoor runs). Everything I'm reading says you put the instant grits around the ant hills, the ants eat the grits which then expand and kill the ants. It is supposed to be animal friendly. I will be treating one section, then a day or so later moving the runs and treating the others, so the rabbits should get little to no exposure to the grits, but just in case................................. Does anyone know if instant grits will hurt the rabbits? I have dutch, nd's, lionheads, and mini rexes. Thanks.:anyone:

That's like corn meal, isn't it? I don't think a sudden influx of something that starchy would be good for them, although I doubt little bits of the stuff will be too harmful.

But they may well like it and try and eat as much as possible.

This is just a guess tho!
