Hello I raise Satin rabbits for, show, and pets. At this time we only have a few along with a mini rex buck! I was hoping to join this site for helpful advise as well as to get ideas about providing a more enriched and happier life for farm rabbits...I feel to often non pet rabbits are left bored and under stimulated in there outdoor accommodations.

Welcome to RO! There is lots of helpful info on this forum in the library sections or using the search box, as well as many people who try and answer questions posted. If you have any questions, feel free to post them in the appropriate topic. A lot of times they are answered right away, but sometimes it can take some time for the right person to come along to answer some questions, so be patient, and even bump your thread if it's been some time with no replies, as sometimes threads just get missed on occasion. And feel free to post pics of your buns. We all love to see each others rabbits :)

I also feel rabbits do better and are happier when given things to do. A few simple things can make a big difference. Grass hay is a great thing to have for rabbits. It keeps them busy giving them something to munch on during the day, as well as being good for digestive health and teeth. Hard dried pine cones make good cheap toys, and are also good for chewing on. Wiffle balls, tp tubes stuffed with hay, apple branches, hanging chew toys, hard plastic baby toys like plastic key rings and plastic connecting links, all make great toys for rabbits. There are many toys that can be used that are cheap or even free.

We would love to see pictures of your bunnies! Posed if you have them i love seeing show bunnies :D
